Munday Moguls (Munday, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Klondike Cougars (Lamesa, TX), 58-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Munday upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Moguls travel to Sands (Ackerly, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Sands won 47-43 in their recent non-league bout against Ira (Ira, TX)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Valley Patriots (Turkey, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Klondike will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Non Varsity Opponent (, ).
