The Walled Lake Central Vikings basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Lakeland Eagles to 24 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lyon for a Lakes Valley contest on Tuesday, December 12. Walled Lake Central will battle a Lions team coming off a 66-57 league win over Kettering (Waterford, MI). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI). The Knights enter the Lakes Valley contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Walled Lake Northern triumphed over Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI), 48-25, in a league contest.
