In Friday's league match, the visiting Westchester Comets basketball team scored a tight 56-54 triumph over the Los Angeles CES Unicorns.
In their next game, the Comets meet the North Saxons (Torrance, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 9. Westchester will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Saxons go into the test with a 7-1 record after their 66-45 non-league win over Bellflower (Bellflower, CA).
The Unicorns now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Rolling Hills Prep for a non-league test on Thursday, December 14.
