The West Burlington Falcons basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Mediapolis Bulldogs to 58 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Lee for a SEI - South contest on Tuesday, December 12. West Burlington will battle a Hawks team coming off a 82-55 non-league win over Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.

The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Louisa-Muscatine (Letts, IA). The Falcons enter the SEI - North contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Louisa-Muscatine was defeated by Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA), 45-43, in a league contest.
