Michigan High School Basketball - Mott can't hold off Milford

The Milford Mavericks basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Mott Corsairs to 42 in the Mavericks league triumph on Friday.
The Mavericks now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Adrian for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Milford will battle a Maples team coming off a 71-70 non-league win over Mason (Mason, MI). The Maples record now stands at 3-1.
The Corsairs (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Walled Lake Western (Walled Lake, MI). The Warriors enter the Lakes Valley contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Walled Lake Western was nudged by Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI), 48-25, in a league contest.
