Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) and the host Palisades Pirates (Kintnersville, PA), witnessed Moravian Academy's basketball squad nip Palisades by a margin of 39-36.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Panthers go into the Colonial - East test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Saucon Valley got by Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA), 57-48, in a non-league test.

The Pirates now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame-Green Pond for a Colonial - East test on Monday, December 11. Palisades will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 61-36 league win over Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-0.
