The New Hope Christian Warriors (Grants Pass, OR) basketball knocked off the host Prospect Cougars (Prospect, OR), 50-40 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Mohawk (Marcola, OR). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Mohawk notched a victory over Elkton (Elkton, OR), 55-13, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Siletz Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. Prospect will encounter a squad coming off a 49-27 non-league loss to Central Christian (Redmond, OR). The record now stands at 1-3.
