In Friday's league match, the host Oneida Express basketball team scored a tight 59-53 triumph over the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils.

In their next game, the Express meet the Carthage Comets (Carthage, NY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 12. Oneida will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
