In Friday's league match, the host Plainfield South Cougars basketball team scored a good 50-35 triumph over the Plainfield Central Wildcats.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie match, on Tuesday, December 12. Plainfield South will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Steelmen enter the match with a 5-3 record after their 58-54 league loss to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL).
