Alabama High School Basketball - Russell County nudges Smiths Station

In Friday's non-league outing, the Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) basketball squad nipped the host Smiths Station Panthers (Smiths, AL), by a margin of 54-51.

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Eufaula (Eufaula, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Eufaula got by Barbour County (Clayton, AL), 68-39, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bullock County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12. Smiths Station will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 49-48 non-league win over Tallassee (Tallassee, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 5-5.
