Fans at Friday's league challenge between the The Gunston School Herons (Centreville, MD) and the visiting Worcester Prep Mallards (Berlin, MD), saw The Gunston School's basketball squad knock off Worcester Prep by a tally of 37-28.

With the victory, The Gunston School improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Herons travel to Salisbury (Salisbury, MD) to play the Dragons in a Eastern Shore challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Mallards play the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 12. Worcester Prep will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Firebirds go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 60-51 non-league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA).
