Walled Lake Northern Knights (Commerce, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Walled Lake Western Warriors (Walled Lake, MI), 48-25 in a league bout.

With the win, Walled Lake Northern upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Lakeland (White Lake, MI) to play the Eagles in a Lakes Valley bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Lakeland lost 48-24 in their recent league bout against Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI)

Next up, the Warriors play the Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) in a Lakes Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Walled Lake Western will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Corsairs go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 43-42 league loss to Milford (Highland, MI).
