The Buckeye Bucks basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Elyria Catholic Panthers to 48 in the Bucks league triumph on Friday.

The Bucks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Buckeye will battle a Demons team coming off a 47-43 non-league win over Valley Forge (Parma Heights, OH). The Demons record now stands at 1-0.
