In Friday's non-league outing, the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) basketball squad beat the host Brock Eagles (Brock, TX), by a count of 51-38.
The Bearcats (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Rider (Wichita Falls, TX). The Raiders go into the 5A Region I District 5 outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Rider was topped by Martin (Arlington, TX), 49-24, in a non-league outing.
