New West Charter Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Animo South Los Angeles Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), 59-26 in a league bout.

With the win, New West Charter upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Eagles host Foshay (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Wolverines in a Crosstown bout on Monday, December 11. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Foshay lost 40-38 in their recent non-league bout against Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown bout, on Monday, December 11. Animo South Los Angeles will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Sharks go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 67-7 league win over Horace Mann UCLA Community (Los Angeles, CA).
