H-L-V Warriors (Victor, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA), 59-26 in a league bout.

With the win, H-L-V upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Warriors host Montezuma (Montezuma, IA) to play the Braves in a South Iowa Cedar bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Montezuma won 56-16 in their recent league bout against Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA)

Next up, the Bears play the East Marshall Mustangs (Le Grand, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. B-G-M will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 70-28 league loss to South Hardin (Eldora, IA).
