With the win, Banquete upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Odem (Odem, TX) to clash with the Owls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Odem lost 28-9 in their recent non-league bout against Kaufer (Riviera, TX)

Next up, the Pirates clash with the George West Longhorns (George West, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Mathis will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Edna (Edna, TX).
