Bayou Academy Colts (Cleveland, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS), 58-16 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bayou Academy upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Colts travel to West Memphis Christian (West Memphis, AR) to play the Black Knights in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Black Knights come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Chiefs play the Starkville Academy Volunteers (Starkville, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 1 bout, on Friday, December 15. Magnolia Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
