Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hayes Pacers (Delaware, OH), 72-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Big Walnut upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Bishop Watterson won 50-38 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Gahanna, OH)
Next up, the Pacers play the Olentangy Berlin Bears (Delaware, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Hayes will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 65-25 league loss to Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH).
