Branson Pirates (Branson, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO), 52-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, Branson upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Lebanon (Lebanon, MO) to play the Yellowjackets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Lebanon lost 79-70 in their recent non-league bout against Eldon (Eldon, MO)

Next up, the Eagles play the Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO) in a Central Ozarks bout, on Saturday, December 9. Joplin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 33-28 non-league loss to Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS).
