Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Byron Bears (Byron, MN) and the host Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN), saw Byron's basketball squad wallop Lake City by a tally of 66-42.

With the victory, Byron improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Red Wing (Red Wing, MN) to play the Wingers in a AAA Section 1 challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Wingers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Tigers play the Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) in a AA Section 1 challenge, on Monday, December 11. Lake City will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.
