Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host McNeil Mavericks (Austin, TX), 39-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Cedar Ridge upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Raiders host Vista Ridge (Cedar Park, TX) to play the Rangers in a 6A Region IV District 25 bout on Friday, December 15. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Vista Ridge won 61-49 in their recent league bout against Round Rock (Round Rock, TX)

Next up, the Mavericks play the Manor Mustangs (Manor, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 25 bout, on Friday, December 15. McNeil will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 48-36 league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX).
