West Franklin Falcons (Pomona, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Central Heights Vikings (Richmond, KS), 38-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Franklin upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Falcons host Northern Heights (Allen, KS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Northern Heights lost 57-12 in their recent non-league bout against Wabaunsee (Alma, KS)

Next up, the Vikings play the Lyndon Tigers (Lyndon, KS) in a Flint Hills bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Central Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 38-22 non-league loss to Burlingame (Burlingame, KS).
