North Carolina High School Basketball - Chatham Central trounces Jordan-Matthews

The Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 55-26 in Friday's league test.

The Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the 1A/2A Mid-Carolina contest with a 2-1 record.

The Jets (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Northwood (Pittsboro, NC). The Chargers enter the 1A/2A Mid-Carolina contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Northwood triumphed over Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC), 38-35, in a league contest.
