East Hamilton Hurricanes (Ooltewah, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Chattanooga Central Pounders (Harrison, TN), 78-5 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Hamilton upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN) to clash with the Hustlin' Tigers in a 4A District 6 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Hustlin' Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Howard Tech lost 70-36 in their recent non-league bout against Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN)

Next up, the Pounders clash with the Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN) in a 3A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Chattanooga Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
