Chiefland Indians (Chiefland, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL), 37-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chiefland upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Indians host North Marion (Citra, FL) to play the Colts in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 0-4. North Marion lost 56-11 in their recent non-league bout against Eastside (Gainesville, FL)

Next up, the Bears play the Bronson Eagles (Bronson, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Dixie County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
