In Friday's league outing, the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN) basketball squad felled the host Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN), by a margin of 52-32.

The Black Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Cosby (Cosby, TN). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Cosby was beaten by North Greene (Greeneville, TN), 55-40, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Warriors play the Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Happy Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 61-20 non-league win over Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA).
