The Stevens Cardinals (Claremont, NH) basketball felled the visiting Conant Orioles (Jaffrey, NH), 38-26 in Friday's league test.

The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH). The Wildcats go into the Division III test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Fall Mountain was beaten by Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH), 39-27, in a non-league test.

The Orioles now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Monadnock for a Division III test on Tuesday, December 12. Conant will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 56-39 league win over Mascoma (Canaan, NH). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.
