Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cross Trojans (Cross, SC) and the host Lake Marion Gators (Santee, SC), saw Cross's basketball squad wallop Lake Marion by a tally of 54-30.

With the victory, Cross improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Timberland (St. Stephen, SC) to play the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Timberland won 73-24 in their recent non-league challenge against North Charleston (North Charleston, SC)

Next up, the Gators play the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins (Orangeburg, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Lake Marion will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 45-21 non-league win over Bethune-Bowman (Orangeburg, SC).
