With the win, Dallas Center-Grimes upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Bishop Heelan Catholic won 63-53 in their recent league bout against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Pella Dutch (Pella, IA) in a Little Hawkeye bout, on Friday, December 15. Newton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Dutch go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Fort Madison (Fort Madison, IA).
