Georgia High School Basketball - Gilmer knocked off by Dawson County

The Dawson County Tigers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Gilmer Bobcats to 47 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens for a AAA Region 7 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Dawson County will battle a Dragons team coming off a 52-38 non-league win over Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 7-0.
The Bobcats (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Fannin County ran past Calhoun (Calhoun, GA), 62-51, in a non-league contest.
