Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Wausau East Lumberjacks (Wausau, WI) and the visiting D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI), saw Wausau East's basketball squad wallop D.C. Everest by a tally of 64-30.
With the victory, Wausau East improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Rhinelander (Rhinelander, WI) to confront the Hodags in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Hodags come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Rhinelander won 52-45 in their recent league challenge against Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI)
Next up, the Evergreens confront the Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. D.C. Everest will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 79-36 league win over Antigo (Antigo, WI).
