DeWitt Dragons (DeWitt, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR), 57-47 in a league bout.

With the win, DeWitt upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Dragons host Augusta (Augusta, AR) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Buckaroos clash with the Warren Lumberjacks (Warren, AR) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Smackover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
