The Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA), 60-50 in Friday's league test.
The Maroons (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Rams go into the Central Iowa Metro - Central test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Southeast Polk went down by Northwest (Waukee, IA), 49-41, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Urbandale for a Central Iowa Metro - Central test on Tuesday, December 12. Waukee will encounter a J-Hawks squad coming off a 86-37 league loss to Johnston (Johnston, IA). The J-Hawks record now stands at 2-5.
