In Friday's non-league match, the host Draughn Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 64-11 triumph over the Patton Panthers.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 12. Draughn will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 71-49 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC).
