East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Warren Warriors (Warren, TX), 42-28 in a league bout.

With the win, East Chambers upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Buccaneers host Kirbyville (Kirbyville, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 3A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Kirbyville lost 39-28 in their recent non-league bout against Evadale (Evadale, TX)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 game, on Tuesday, December 12. Warren will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 10-5 record after their 62-35 league loss to Hardin (Hardin, TX).
