The Gurdon Go-Devils basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Fordyce Redbugs to 42 in the Go-Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Go-Devils now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rison for a 2A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Gurdon will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 59-41 non-league win over Hermitage (Hermitage, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.

The Redbugs (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Woodlawn (Rison, AR). The Bears enter the 2A Region 8 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Woodlawn was defeated by Ouachita (Donaldson, AR), 52-36, in a league contest.
