Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), 74-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Roland-Story upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Norsemen host Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to play the Eagles in a Heart of Iowa bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Saydel won 57-23 in their recent non-league bout against Diagonal (Diagonal, IA)

Next up, the Rams play the Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) in a Heart of Iowa bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Greene County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Cubs come into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 54-41 league loss to West Marshall (State Center, IA).
