In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Grundy Golden Wave basketball squad scored a big 63-24 win over the Tazewell Bulldogs.
The Golden Wave (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Lebanon (Lebanon, VA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Lebanon was trounced by Union (Big Stone Gap, VA), 61-22, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Council for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Tazewell will encounter a Cobras squad coming off a 57-35 non-league loss to Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN). The Cobras record now stands at 2-2.
