Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen (Harbor Springs, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wolverine Wildcats (Wolverine, MI), 54-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Harbor Light Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Swordsmen host Boyne Falls (Boyne Falls, MI) to play the Loggers in a Northern Lakes bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Loggers go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Boyne Falls lost 64-38 in their recent league bout against North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Ellsworth Lancers (Ellsworth, MI) in a Northern Lakes bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Wolverine will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 29-27 league loss to Mackinaw City (Mackinaw City, MI).
