The South Christian Sailors basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Holland Christian Maroons to 37 in the Sailors non-league victory on Friday.

The Sailors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forest Hills Northern for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. South Christian will battle a Huskies team coming off a 41-30 non-league win over Sparta (Sparta, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.

The Maroons (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Holland (Holland, MI). The Dutch come into the Ottawa-Kent - Green contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Holland was routed by Northview (Grand Rapids, MI), 55-29, in a non-league contest.
