With the victory, Horseshoe Bend improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Beauregard (Opelika, AL) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Beauregard won 51-13 in their recent non-league challenge against Dadeville (Dadeville, AL)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Faith Christian Lions (Anniston, AL) in a 1A Area 8 challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Wadley will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 78-28 non-league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, AL).
