Nebraska High School Basketball - Perkins County overwhelms Kimball

December 8, 2023: Grant, NE 69140

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) and the visiting Kimball Longhorns (Kimball, NE), saw Perkins County's basketball squad wallop Kimball by a tally of 73-27.

With the victory, Perkins County improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host Paxton (Paxton, NE) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Paxton won 63-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Potter-Dix (Potter, NE)

Next up, the Longhorns confront the Morrill Lions (Morrill, NE) in a D1 District 12 challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Kimball will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 40-35 non-league win over Garden County (Oshkosh, NE).
