The Klamath Union Pelicans basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Santiam Christian Eagles to 38 in the Pelicans non-league victory on Friday.
The Pelicans now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Junction City for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Klamath Union will battle a Tigers team coming off a 45-33 non-league win over Newport (Newport, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Newport (Newport, OR). The Cubs come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Newport was routed by Junction City (Junction City, OR), 45-33, in a non-league contest.
