Georgia High School Basketball - Mary Persons knocked off by Lamar County

December 8, 2023: Barnesville, GA 30204

The Lamar County Trojans basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Mary Persons Bulldogs to 47 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaGrange for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9.

The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Turner County was defeated by Appling County (Baxley, GA), 52-44, in a non-league contest.
