In Friday's league outing, the Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) basketball squad beat the visiting Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME), by a margin of 41-32.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME). The Windjammers go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Camden Hills was topped by Cony (Augusta, ME), 61-59, in a league outing.
