Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Orange-Stark Mustangs (Orange, TX), 46-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Little Cypress-Mauriceville upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Bears host Silsbee (Silsbee, TX) to play the Tigers in a 4A Region III District 19 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Silsbee won 56-38 in their recent non-league bout against Lufkin (Lufkin, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Vidor Pirates (Vidor, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 bout, on Friday, December 15. West Orange-Stark will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
