South Carolina High School Basketball - North Charleston can't hold off St. John's

The North Charleston Cougars basketball team (North Charleston, SC), was nudged 50-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting St. John's Islanders (John's Island, SC)

The Islanders now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. St. John's will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 43-38 non-league win over Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.

The Cougars (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Timberland (St. Stephen, SC). The Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Timberland was nudged by Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC), 43-32, in a non-league battle.
