The Northwest Falcons basketball team (Shiprock, NM), was overwhelmed 64-40 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors (Cuba, NM)
The Dine Warriors now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jemez Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 14. Tse' Yi' Gai will battle a Warriors team coming off a 45-34 non-league win over Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 4-0.
The Falcons (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hozho Academy (Gallup, NM). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Hozho Academy triumphed over Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM), 36-18, in a non-league contest.
