The West Point Green Wave basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Okolona Chieftains to 33 in the Green Wave non-league triumph on Friday.

The Green Wave now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a 5A Region 1 match on Tuesday, December 12.

With the defeat, Okolona moves to 3-6 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Noxubee County (Macon, MS) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 0-2.
